Who is Rugby IQ Academy for?
Rugby IQ Academy is for teenagers aged 12–18 who want to improve their rugby skills, speed, fitness, confidence, decision-making and overall understanding of the game.
Our summer camp is suitable for rugby players, Gaelic players and multi-sport athletes who want to prepare for the 26/27 season.

Where is the Teen Summer Rugby Camp held?
The Teen Summer Rugby Camp is based in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Sessions are held at Aura Leitrim Leisure Centre, Carrick-on-Shannon.

What does the Teen Summer Rugby Camp include?
Each camp includes 11 coaching sessions across 4 weeks.
Players will work on:
• Rugby skills
• Speed and agility
• Fitness
• Confidence
• Game understanding
• Decision-making
• Rugby IQ
• Nutrition support
Sessions are designed to help players become sharper, more confident and better prepared for the 26/27 season.

What are the camp dates?
Camp 1:
29 June – 22 July
Camp 2:
25 July – 17 August
Sessions run every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

What times are the sessions?
Mondays: 6:30pm – 9:00pm
Wednesdays: 6:30pm – 9:00pm
Saturdays: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

How much does it cost?
Teen Summer Rugby Camp:
€180 Summer Launch Price for 11 sessions.
Flexible Summer Rugby Pass:
€280 for any 15 sessions across the summer camps.
Deposit option:
A €100 deposit is available to secure a place, with the remaining balance due before the first session unless agreed directly with Rugby IQ Academy.

Do parents have to pay straight away?
No.
Parents can choose one of three options:
1. Pay in full
2. Pay a €100 deposit to secure a place
3. Register interest and we will contact you to confirm the best option
A place is only secured once a full payment or deposit has been completed.

What is the Flexible Summer Rugby Pass?
The Flexible Summer Rugby Pass is for families who need flexibility around holidays, Gaelic, soccer, family plans or other commitments.
It allows players to attend any 15 sessions across the summer camps.

Do you cater for beginners?
Yes.
We welcome different experience levels and coach players appropriately.
The camp is designed to challenge players while also building confidence, understanding and enjoyment.

Is this only for rugby players?
No.
The camp is suitable for rugby players, Gaelic players and multi-sport athletes.
Many of the skills developed — speed, movement, decision-making, confidence and game awareness — transfer well across field sports.

Do your coaches have experience?
Yes.
Sessions are led by experienced rugby coaches with strong playing, coaching and youth development backgrounds.
Rugby IQ Academy focuses on helping players understand the game better, improve their core skills and develop confidence on and off the pitch.
