Anti-Bullying Statement

At Rugby IQ Academy, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for every child. Bullying of any kind—whether physical, verbal, emotional, or online—has no place in our academy. We believe that rugby should be a source of enjoyment, personal growth, and positive development for all players.

We promote the core values of respect, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, both on and off the pitch. Every coach, parent, and player shares the responsibility of upholding these values and ensuring a culture where bullying is never tolerated.

Our Commitment:

  • We take all reports of bullying seriously and will address concerns promptly, fairly, and confidentially.
  • We educate our coaches and players on recognising, preventing, and responding to bullying behaviours.
  • We encourage open communication and support children who may feel vulnerable or unsure.
  • We work closely with parents and guardians to resolve any issues in a constructive and caring manner.

What We Ask of Our Players and Families:

  • Treat teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees with respect at all times.
  • Speak up if you see or experience bullying—tell a coach, staff member, or trusted adult.
  • Support and include others, on and off the field.

Together, we can create an environment where every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to thrive—as players and as people.
